It's the morning, or at least as early in it as Erin would be back to the room, and Helena's outside of it. She has a couple of stops to make, some people to speak to, but the easiest is her roommate first.

Erin's telltale walking style greets her when she's coming out.

"Erin? Do you have a moment?"

It does not appear to be sorted out, at least, not if the slightly frantic way she's returned is anything to go by.

It's not immediately after they're done that Crabb goes for the ambush, she needs time to catch her breath and come down just as much as Erin, but if Erin gets to slink away too soon she's not sure she'll be able to get her to sit down for this until far later if at all.

So eventually she's propping herself up on an arm and poking Erin's nose with her other hand. "Two bleedin' years, huh?"

If you'd asked Crabb when she found herself in Johnny's past how the evening would end, even the wildest reaches of her imagination would not have chosen 'ending up in Johnny's bed'. But that's what happens. And when it unravels and Crabb finds herself back on the boat, the rush of it all has faded enough for the distant worry about the consequences to stop being so distant.

Holy Mother of God she actually—

Her first call is not Johnny. Maybe it should be but she's embarrassed and panicking and she can't even text him first to figure out where he is, so what happens instead is she marches right back to where she knows Erin was before she ended up going through that crack.

She looks flustered as all Hell.

The ritual of talking with Erin in pajamas, discussing what's going on, is a comforting and fruitful one. How else is she to know the intricacies of the ship? How else would Erin know everything Helena heard? It is theirs, and it makes the time she spends in her own cabin a comforting and comfortable one.

Though when they hit a lull, Helena gathers her scraps of courage, thinks about the wreath of roses she came back from the feast wearing and their sweet scent.

"...There's something I've been meaning to voice to you for a little while, if you'll hear it."

If she puts herself on the spot, she can't escape.

Just a heads up, there’s a new passenger here named Demona. Blue skin, big bat wings, red hair, turns to a statue during the day. She almost immediately tried to commit murder because someone taped paper pigeons to her as a statue and is pretty literally genocidal towards humans. I had to pin her down to get her to stop. So. Watch out for that.

After she gets Valdis back to her room, Cassandra comes looking for Erin, just to make sure she knows what's happened. She's too exhausted for much more than covering the basics and exchanging a tight hug. Three days, now, to wait for Crichton to wake.

In the interests of getting through those three days with a relatively clear head, they arrange to spar the next morning, even though it's off their usual schedule.
